Going to Portugal

Hi, I am going to Portugal for the first time. Would anyone be so kind as to suggest how I should go around looking for a place to stay in Lisbon? I am thinking of renting a 1BR apartment in a lively neighborhood - perhaps in some university district (if there is such a thing) - for about a week or two beginning Sept 19th. Thank you.

yep, there's the university city. Beforehand, I'd suggest the internet, since that's how I fixed rentals when I went abroad. But if you come with time, there's usually loads of offers posted on boards in supermarkets and cafeterias, and since it's september, there will be huge amounts. I'm not studying in Lisbon, but I heard it's a bit more expensive than where I study, so a T1 should cost you above 200 euro, considering I pay 150 for a room. Also, people like foreigners ^_^.

Have loads of fun! ...and while you're at it, pop by Coimbra. *nudgenudgewinkwink* XP
